After the long ride home to Marfa, Texas from Pauls Valley, the little horse settled in just fine. I am still trying to decide on a name for him. I am thinking of calling him Rainmaker, because since I picked him up it has been raining every day - unusual for the Chihuahuan Desert! The rain hasn't been too much to keep us from riding, but it's been nice not to have the dust!
I think he likes the attention he has been getting - he enjoys baths and having his mane and tail combed. 
I can't wait to use him on the ranch to work cows - he gets around as smooth as can be!
