Teryn and Maverick won 1st place in the finals of Mustang Magic, which was held January 22nd at the Fort Worth Stock Show. After each of the preliminary rounds, Maverick & Teryn headed to the finals as the leaders. The house was packed finals night. Even an hour before the show started there was no where to sit or stand! Teryn put on a great display of perfect horsemanship, guiding Maverick through a reining pattern and a series of strait line lead changes. Everyone was waiting to see what he would do next . . . and as you might have guessed he called for a cow, and man did it come running! This fast calf was no problem for Maverick, he fell in right behind her and tracked her around the John Justin as if he'd done it a thousand times before. Teryn's loop fell beautifully over the calf's neck and in just a few seconds she was tied down and the crowd was on their feet watching Maverick work the rope! It was simply awesome!!!
